Essex Volleyball Club is the premier volleyball teaching club in the Metropolitan area. Our coaches have been taught by some of the greatest minds in USA Volleyball including Dr. Carl McGowen , Dr. Marv Dunphy, Dr. Doug Beal and Ron Larsen . We have 100% commitment to the athletes who walk into our gym . If athletes bring a commitment to work hard, they will improve dramatically .

The Essex Volleyball Club (formerly known as the South Orange Maples) is one of the oldest junior volleyball clubs in New Jersey, celebrating over 30 years of success. Our club was established to provide athletes with an opportunity to train year-round in volleyball. We are a teaching club with our goal of making our players more fundamentally sound.
